how do I backup my savegame?

my pc can't run this at the best graphics I have to play it all minimum but I made some nice progress now and I just don't want to lose it, so when I get a better pc I want to get back to the game, how do I backup? where is the save game file ? thanks in advance

Hi. You can find your savegame here: "C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves" I hope, i could help you ;-)

For Windows : Look under <YourName> / AppData / Roaming / 7DaysToDie
Copy (don't move) the Saves folder to your desktop or someplace.

Some of the directories might not show up and you will have to un-hide them.

easiest way to get to files is to find 7dlauncher.exe in the games folder. That brings up the main launcher which allows you to go directly to world files, save files, and various other game related aspects you may need.
