you hit them with something. doesnt matter what but most either punch them or use the stone axe.

just realized i might have been trolled. 234 hours into the game for op. HIghly unlikely they never figured out basics.

Also highly possible that their 234 hours came, yknow, 7 years ago or something in like Alpha 10... Back when you pressed E to harvest, not smacked the crop. :winter2019happyyul:

That destroys the bush though?
Which is unexpected, so how does it work with farming plots? A bit pointless if you have to plant and destroy each time surely?

Farming in A20 is very unpopular. You can plant 10 crops and end up with less than 50 of whatever, meaning you can't even make 10 seeds to replant, so you LOST out. They don't reduce to seedlings anymore. So for each you plant, you need 5 to make the seed and replant.

And that's exactly why the Living of the Land skill is useful. You cannot really farm without it anymore.

With 2 points in it i think you are pretty much garanteed a positive output as it was posted at least 50 times by Sylen or another mod.

With 1 point into farming your chances of breaking even with 10 seeds is around 4.4% and chance to lose is around 1.1%. Meaning a 94.5% chance to profit. With 20 seeds your chance to profit increases to about 99.4%. 30 seeds is around 99.93%. Basically, in the long run you will almost certainly profit.

Just hit the trader, seeds are sold dirt cheap there now. Several POI's have different crops planted, and stores have containers with a high chance of seeds. Find your inner scavver.

When you harvest anything in the game - such as cars, dirt, stone, iron, trees, beds, chairs, plants, etc - it will be gone from the world and you will have the harvest products in your inventory. (If your inventory is full they will drop to the ground instead.) Harvesting farming crops is the same as harvesting everything else in the game. So not really unexpected in that sense.

Harvesting crops gives a chance for 1 seeds, and a quantity of produce items in a number dependent on your farming skill. And yes, currently, you replant the seed if you want to continue the cycle.

Thanks gang. excellent and well explained. Been playing NMS and other games lately but came back to 7DTD as a challenge to actually enjoy a zombie game, and love the way it is actually relaxing. I survived a blood moon for the first time last week, and now I am a bit hooked, it's brain dead type relaxing in a nice way.
