just realized i might have been trolled. 234 hours into the game for op. HIghly unlikely they never figured out basics.
Which is unexpected, so how does it work with farming plots? A bit pointless if you have to plant and destroy each time surely?
With 2 points in it i think you are pretty much garanteed a positive output as it was posted at least 50 times by Sylen or another mod.
With 1 point into farming your chances of breaking even with 10 seeds is around 4.4% and chance to lose is around 1.1%. Meaning a 94.5% chance to profit. With 20 seeds your chance to profit increases to about 99.4%. 30 seeds is around 99.93%. Basically, in the long run you will almost certainly profit.
When you harvest anything in the game - such as cars, dirt, stone, iron, trees, beds, chairs, plants, etc - it will be gone from the world and you will have the harvest products in your inventory. (If your inventory is full they will drop to the ground instead.) Harvesting farming crops is the same as harvesting everything else in the game. So not really unexpected in that sense.
Harvesting crops gives a chance for 1 seeds, and a quantity of produce items in a number dependent on your farming skill. And yes, currently, you replant the seed if you want to continue the cycle.
