what happens when the 7th day and no one is online?

i play with my friends on a server and when there is no enouph players on the 6th day to defend for the 7th day we stop the server because we are afraid our house will be destroyed because of the hord so if we are all offline will the hord even spawn?

Time only moves if people are on the server.
no players = server time paused

Not only does the server stop if no one is online, the horde size depends on how many players are online and wich size for the horde you choose.

Default it´s 8 zombies per player, so if 2 are online it´s 16, if 3 are online it´s 24 zombies and so on. So it´s not a problem if not everyone is on during the horde.

The first few hordenights are fairly easy aswell. When we are 3 or 4 players it´s usually over shortly before midnight. But we do use a horde base with pipe bombs that is a bit cheesy for the first 3 hordes, so we kill them pretty fast, might take longer for newer players.

Question please for pApA. I have never used pipe bombs, always sold them, never made any either. It seemed to couple occasions I did toss a couple, not horde night, they just blow everything up. Including one`s base? Or do you give them a good heave away from your base proper?

The block damage is pretty low for pipe bombs, it´s not a problem. Same goes for grenades and contact grenades.
