How to disable Steam Sync with Cloud?

I abhor Steams cloud sync. I've lost countless hours on numerous games due to that terrible feature. I don't seem to be able to disable it on this game though. I've right clicked and gone to properties but I don't see the option to disable it anywhere. Does anyone know where it's hiding?

I got the warning telling me it couldn't sync with the Steam server. That warning always results in time lost when the cloud connection is resumed, so I'm dead in the water and unable to play until either Steam gets over whatever issue it's having, or I can disable this bug... I mean feature.

Is this in the wrong game forum? 7DTD doesn't have cloud saves; The saves are literally too big to fit on the cloud since cloud saves max out at 1gb, but a single save can surpass that AND it needs the world file too which is another 500-1+gb depending on it's size.
