Can't create a character?

In character profile the create button doesn't do anything. Is this a known bug or something?

You should only have to click the create button, and give it a name... type one in, then click CREATE. You'll be able to make the character and personalize it a bit from there. We'll be getting new character creation processes in the next alpha but, that should be how it works. If it's NOT working that way, it's not intended and I see nothing about it in current bug reports.

Must just be an issue on my end. Hopefully the next update might fix my issue as a side effect of whatever improvements they're making to it.

Are you using a controller? I had to switch to mouse and keyboard and click Create and then it worked.

I'm having the same issue. It's only offering me the 9 basic details and a limited selection of options in each to customize a new character.

they have cut down the customization immensely with 1.0 to give better looking characters, but less variety.
you got the different ethnicities each with a set of faces for both sexes, some 15 or so haircuts for each gender and some color options

maybe there's a read/write permission issue? try launching the game as admin and see if it does anything
