Private server in coop

Hey, Im new to the game and I was wondering how can I get the IP of a private server or how can I join a friend on a private server on the alpha 21 because I can't find it with the research by name

Have your friend send you an invite when he is in the game. That's the quickest and easiest way. Make sure you are both logged in to the Steam friends network.

yeah its easier through steam but at first I had the game on the game pass and we didn't manage to join each other while my friend has it on steam but I just bought it on steam during sales and now its ok through the steam client, anyway cheers thanks for the answer
