More than one active landclaim block.
Hello survivors.
Anyone knows how to make it so I can have more than one active landclaim block? I play solo and totally vanilla with no mods:steamhappy:

You can have 3 active land claim blocks. Each block you place after that will deactivate one of the others, starting with the oldest and so on.

Strange, had a similar experience maybe. Placed a 2nd block like 200m away to start a new base, and the former one in a POI base went inactive.

Check the following key in your registry. The value should be 3 now. It seems there is a bug not updating this from the old value which was 1.

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\The Fun Pimps\7 Days To Die\LandClaimCount_h3672927595

If you guys didn't do what's considered a 'complete' wipe and 'clean' install, followed up with using launcher--tools--clean options, then you might not have (up to) 3 LCB's working as they should in A21. Your windows registry may still have the count to 1 due to old installations of 7d2d.

Aye, it's 1 in the registry. But, i bought into the game just after A21 exp was released.
Looks like it didn't change values while switching to A21 experimental.
And, the game, using the desktop shortcut, never prompted me a launcher, so i didn't even knew it existed before i read some stuff in the forums...

Watcha think, better switch to stable now, or stay on experimental?
Could i continue my game or would i have to start anew?

If you were playing experimental, it should have auto-updated (over Steam) to stable already. But that aside, my experimental save carried right over to stable with no (known) issues aside from my allowed LCB amount.

EDIT: I see you mentioned using a desktop shortcut to play, so my mention of Steam auto-updating probably doesn’t apply here. Whoops.

You're right, it seemed to auto-opted out of beta. I had no idea this land claim thing could've been a registry thing, nor had i knowledge of that launcher even existing, lol.
I bought the game, started, realized i had to switch to experimental for A21 and started playing. That's it. Then i read a lot about the xml files, so to read about registry entries having game options in them baffled me quite a bit...

Thanks to everyone distributing in here, i'd never been able to find that one out myself, i think.
