The exception is battery banks. You could do: Generator --> Batt Box --> rest of network or Solar Panels --> Batt Box --> network.
But not Generator --> Generator --> Network
The problem is, I've had this type of construction a few times and it worked, only recently have the problems arisen. Unfortunately, rebuilding the generators does not help.
I have not seen this problem before..
I had a similar issue before and it was because the power.dat file in my save directory had corrupted or something due to a game crash. The power.dat file is overwritten on game close, and when something buggy happens with it, electrical work doesn't function properly in game.
Remove all engines, solar cells, and batteries, stash them in your inventory or chests, and then delete the power.dat file. You can try the backup file (power.dat.bak, rename it to power.dat), see if that fixes it, and if it doesn't, delete them both and rewire everything. Assuming you kept your engines and batteries like I said, rewiring isn't a big deal.
180W Solar followed by a 300W Batterie bank.
Should mean that if more then 180W are used the Batteries should deliver the rest. Sadly it just means that all above ? 11 Turrets aka 165 Watt (+8 for relais, switch and a Light) dont work.
Stuff placed in the Poi editor strangly use less Energy
Turrets placed in POi editor will shoot you as "Stranger" (well thats not a bug, but unexpected).
A few bases ago this Power through (2 Sensors in a row) didnt work too. since i am anyway busy wiring my base i can check that just for fun now
Ok it works, not as one would expect but it works.
Glad you got it figured out!
