Do changing the games rules disable achievements?

So if i were to set the player block damage to 200% or loot abundance to 200% will that disable achievements?

Nope, you should be fine.

Playing while CHEATS are enabled (either in the options or from the F1 menu) will temporarily block achievements, but even turning CHEATS on to get stuff you need and then turning them off and closing/opening the game (not sure if that part is necessary) will allow achievements after the cheats are off.

see i had heard that if you turned on the console at any point then achievements were permanently disabled.

You also wouldnt happen to know how to fix the crafting achievement im stuck on 81 items even though im positive vie crafted way more.

There might've been a time several years ago when opening the console would block achievements, but it's been a lot more forgiving for at least the last couple of years (I've had the game a while, but haven't messed with the F1 console for nearly as long).

There might be instructions to fix some broken achievements in the FAQ or BugFixes section sticky threads, but I'm not sure anymore since I thought a lot of the achievement stuff was fixed a few months ago (apparently not?).

Achievements are disabled WHILE the console is open or if you enter DM or Creative mode. Once you exit back to regular mode, they're active again......unless you have 'Cheat' enabled in game settings.

You can even get achievements while running major overhaul mods; I've had some PvP achievements from running Darkness Falls in single player, because the game sees the survivor NPCs as players (or it did in the previous DF version, at least. I assume it still does in the current version too).
