I play Scavenger to Nomad depending on whether my grandkids are playing with me and since higher than that just makes me annoyed (hate bullet sponge zombies), with 7 day hordes, Walk, Run, Run, Nightmare. I want them running fast and hard on Blood Moon... the more the better. But, again, that's the way I enjoy playing the game, and no one you talk to will have the same answer.
keeps things ticking along and can roughly average 3 game days / hours a IRL day.
The play for an hour or two lines up nicely with real time.
The small amount of pressure to get things done. ( At least week 1 )
This game loses alot of its charm once you remove the " I need feeling "
A20 im waiting for horde night 35 and i feel kind of lonely, base is set and all im doing is collecting resources and trying to get an auger.....
25% loot, no loot respawn
Always run nightmare
Is my preferred, pre a20. Post a20 I don't have always run anymore with the buggy instant crawl/attacking going on.
I don't mess with day length
Used to disable Airdrops. But they aren't Op anymore.
