I was just trying to get back to base, and that would explain why half a dozen of them showed up.
And this was my second Blood moon, so I don't get it.
Oh god, they cheesed the blood moon! Its the end times! Oh wait, now I can just die and cheese it more.
It seems to end the whole thing, cuz nothing else spawned the entire Bloodmoon.
If you want the horde to continue, you can find another zombie or re-log. (or join a battle in progress if you're playing with others.)
The thing is, I headed back to get my bike from in front of Jen's and the zombies were all gone. And there were zombies left. SO I couldn't even engage if I wanted to because they had all despawned.
