If you die during the Blood Moon it just... ends?
So I have variable time on for my Blood Moons and I got caught coming back from Bob's. Got swarmed by buzzards (would have made it if that didn't happen and if the road in front of Jen's place was actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ flat) and when I re-spawned... nothing. Not even normal zombies.

So i turned on my forge and my campfire and... still nothing. Nada. Didn't see a zombie until like 6 that morning.

This happened on my first Blood Moon too. So, if you want to skip a Blood Moon just die?

The first blood moon is super small, and I have had similar where the game just stops spawning zeds after a death on the first one. The later ones won't give you that kind of breathing room.

Also assuming you were on your bike when blood moon hit, you're better off grabbing it and footing it because the vulchers are coded to be Over powered against vehicles.

Because the devs and part of the community thinks that people ONLY use vehicles on blood moon to cheese it.
yep. i have a server i just made MODS:Re-made Traders, Traders open 24/7 / A20 Spaz Hud/ Bigger Backpack 120 Slots / Zombie loot Drop Increase / Never Run Out Of Stamina When Running / A20 Meat Fix / Harrys New Calibers Auto Turrets A20 / Harrys Wrench-Able Workstations A20 / Working_Jail_Door

I was just trying to get back to base, and that would explain why half a dozen of them showed up.

And this was my second Blood moon, so I don't get it.

Oh god, they cheesed the blood moon! Its the end times! Oh wait, now I can just die and cheese it more.

I have noticed that as of A20, if you, anything that had spawned specifically to attack you will despawn, including hordes during a bloodmoon. Not sure if this ends the whole bloodmoon, or if it just ends that wave, but it's happened to me as well, but it was at the very end of the bloodmoon anyways.

Well, if your horde night ends early and it's still before 4:00am, just log out and back in, and it will start again. :steamhappy:

It seems to end the whole thing, cuz nothing else spawned the entire Bloodmoon.

This was added in A19, in order to prevent a continuous death spiral. If you die, the zombies will forget about you and will stop spawning. You will be safe as long as you don't engage another zombie (wanderer or sleeper.)

If you want the horde to continue, you can find another zombie or re-log. (or join a battle in progress if you're playing with others.)

The thing is, I headed back to get my bike from in front of Jen's and the zombies were all gone. And there were zombies left. SO I couldn't even engage if I wanted to because they had all despawned.
