Crafting leather armor?

I have 3 points in light armor but there is no leather armors on my craft list.
The workbench also has no leather armors to craft. It only has padded, plant fiber, scrap, and ghili suit.

Tried verifying my game files and even used cheat mode to spawn in a "leather armor schematic". ... Still nothing. Any ideas?

While at the workbench, search for "Leather" or "Military" to make the light armors appear. No idea why they don't show up normally.

Thanks, I don't know why I didn't try that. Wonder how may other items are hidden on that thing?

All of the armor types above cloth/scrap are 'hidden' in this way. Apparently it's part of preparing for a21 and the changes in our armor/clothing. As stated above, they can be accessed by doing a search for the specific type of armor you wish to make (leather/Military, Iron/Steel), though that doesn't much help new players. Best we can do is answer questions if asked.

just have to type in leather in your search bar, it's not under the regular catalog because it's locked behind a skill/book
