90% of the times i get Trader joel
HELL even if i go to other biomes i have a 80% chance to just get ANOTHER Trader joel lol
this is an ongoing thing for me for like a year now.
im ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick of Joel
That second trader, Rekt, is he in a different biome than forest ?
I tweaked my game yesterday and discovered that there is a filter that prevent the first trader quest from redirecting the player in another biome than forest. I get rid of that filter because my random map didn't have trader in forest, it was saying "no trader".
We're on our 3rd map restart , but our 2nd map our noob trader was hugh, he sent us to jen then she sent us to jen and so on. We ended up with 1 hugh, 1 joel and i think 7 jens, and we hadn't even discovered them all. so who knows how many jens were on that map.
this map we're on our 4th jen so far.
Yes, where I spawned was right on the border of a desert biome and that's where Rekt was. If it purposely tries to keep you in the forest now for your first trader I guess that makes sense.. I don't agree with it though. Not a fan of walking 2km to my first trader
I created a mod for myself allowing the closest trader to be chosen without biome filters. Certainly not good for balance, but for me it is useful. https://7daystodiemods.com/no-trader-workaround/
