leather?

Like... do I break up couches or something to get this stuff? Cause Ive seen 1 actual wild animal in 4 days, and it gave me 1 hide..

Where can I get some actual leather supplies?

Well, by hunting rabbits and chickens, I had 40 leather by day 9. Animals is where your leather will come from (other than the trader).

couches and office hairs would be your best bet then,

I ran into similair problems but people seem to just want to ignore that there is any kind if RNG to anything in this game.

Hmm. I'll have to try that. I was breaking down couches, but had so much cloth I quit. Didn't know they gave off leather. Same with the office hairs. (jk) I don't think I've ever broken down an office chair.......Thanks for the tip!

Yes, find a poi with a lot of couches and get your leather. It has to be the leather couches.

Go into a forest or desert at night. You will get all the bear, buck, wolf, and dog leather you will ever need. I have stacks of the stuff, and I'm only on day day 38.

Also be sure to scrap any leather gear you find, especially those leather hand wrap things.

basically if it looks like a leather piece of furniture it can be broken down for leather best results ususally are a wrench for the office chairs I thinka counch is the axe can't remember though

I think a wrench on the office chairs only gives one leather, a mechanical part and some scrap iron. If you scrap one in your backpack it'll give like 6 leather.

I'll have to try that. You are right about the items you get from breaking down. I tried it after reading that you could break down office chairs for their leather. That is exactly what I got. So now, I'll just start picking them up. I didn't know I could scrap a chair once it's in my inventory.
