How to turn on building stability

I just built my house. Almost dark so I better put doors on. Good, now to the top of the ladder and place the hatch ........ total house collapse. That was a heavy hatch? Anyway, the house seemed very well supported. Anyway, I understand there is a colour system that informs us as to wether what we a re building is stable. How do I turn it on?

F1 type dm then press escape and tick the stability box on the lower right

block you're about to put down should also change color if it's about to collapse

I haven't heard any reports on it yet.
