Not entirely sure what that link is, but iron bars can either be made in the forge, or, you can craft wooden bars, place them, then, with forged iron in your inventory, upgrade them with a hammer or whatever to make them into iron bars.

the link is suppose to be a screenshot of the bars i'm looking for..i tried all the shapes and even upgraded the wooden bars and i can find nothing that looks like the one in the picture...it must be a dev block that's not craftable

If you want to share screen shots you can't just link people to your profile, because steam (and for dam good reason) will always default people to ->their<- steam profile. Not yours.

First make sure your screenshot is uploaded, then go to your screenshots, find the one you want, click it, click the cog icon to the right, click "share" and copy the link it gives into steam.

Back to the topic.

Like a lot of items in this game it could be the item you're looking for exists under one of the advanced options of another item, or at least another item once upgraded which can sometimes change their shape.

ok thanks i'm new at this and this in my first time in discussion..i don't have a cog to the right or it's not coming up. I used wooden and iron bars centered and both do not look like the ones in the game. I've tried fences, railings and other stuff and even Dev blocks..i can't find them. Oh well ill just go with iron bars i guess

Yes, that is right. Guessing you used one of the other options for posting screenshots? Either way it worked.

Well that's the good news, now for the bad. I fairly sure that one type of bars can't be made by the player. Best option is to go looking in the creative menu, which you clearly already have access to so I don't need to try and explain that one.

If you feel bad for this act of what is....technically cheating (in a single player game), just make some normal iron bars in the forge and throw them to the void as "payment" for what you got.

What is that block even called? It's more a metal grate than iron bars. Iron bars look like prison bars.

I think your right..as i've said before i've looked everywhere in the menu's of bars, railing, grates and the dev blocks to see if i could create these but i'm pretty sure you can't..I use god mode so i don't take damage when i get over loaded with zombies and also use it just to mess around and create stuff...it's a very fun game

I believe they are called "Security Gate" and "Security Gate Centered", however I have only seen them when building in creative.

yeah don't have 20 yet...will upgrade once it's stable
