What's With The AP 7.62mm Ammo?

I have a Hunters Rifle and a AK47 and I found some AP 7.62mm ammo and I can't use it in either gun where in the older versions of 7D2D I could. So my question is what guns can I use the AP ammo?

You sure you correctly switched ammo? You hold down the Reload button until the ammo-selection wheel comes up. The wheel will show all ammo types for that weapon, even if you don't happen to have any (if you have them then that icon will be colourful).

I haven't tried AP ammo with either iron-tier weapon that uses them, so sure maybe there was a change.

All guns have AP rounds version of ammo.
I use 400 rounds of AP ammo to get 600+ kills per horde night.

Hold R and select the AP version of the 7.62

OK i didn't know that, So I will check that tomorrow when i jump back on. I was using the regular 7.62 ammo in the gun. Thank You
