2) Yes and No. The quests -have- to be of the previous tier. To unlock T3, you need to do T2's.
3) Not sure. Have only gone to T3, but never paid mind to the payouts.
4) Nope. Same reason as 2.
Also, while completing a T1 will get you the quest to find the next trader, it in itself is not the pre-req to accessing T2 quests from the same person. You -do- need to wait 1 game day however before T2's will be available.
side note: Quest progression is trader specific. If you're working for Joel and get up to T5, then decide to run the connection quest to Rekt, Rekt will be T1 and you have to build up the rep all over again.
1 - No
2 - No
3 - No, you get a different completion bonus rewards for each tier - starting from a bike on tier 1 and ending in solar cells in tier 5 completion. (money also increase, but it's generally worst choice)
4 - No, but you can reset quests pool by exiting an re entering game if you have less than 5 quests available. So - for example - after you will be rewarded Tier completion bonus you don't have to wait for next day to see next tier quests - just exit game.
Don't even look at wiki - only few articles there are up to date.
When you complete 7 quests for a trader <name> (can be multiple of them on a map that share), You will get a special end of tier reward as well from that trader. The Trader will offer an "opening trade routes" quest that will point you to another trader. The FOLLOWING DAY, the trader will begin to offer you the next tier of quests (you are NOT required to complete the opening trade routes quest).
All Traders of the same name share the same quest progression, ie if you did trader hugh's quests and unlocked tier 3, if you find a trader hugh in a DIFFERENT town, he will also offer tier 3 quests but if you find a trader jen and havent done any quests for her, she will still only offer tier 1 quests.
As for your other questions, no you cannot CHEESE it.
Good catch. I forgot about this aspect.
So concussion or removing nerdy glasses (if your intellect was 6 and you boosted it to 7) will make it not work.
I believe only increases the reward options you can choose from, not how many you can take (unless they updated the wording and functionality)
No, 100% you can get 2 rewards at max Daring.
The wording on the button's a little confusing (first option is "Select" second option is "complete) but yeah, you get the 2 items.
schweeeeet
I took advantage of this recently to quickly clear tier 5's quests. I got the clear reward for tier 5 by doing 8 tier 4 quests (32 points) and 1 tier 5 quest (5 points, bringing the total up to 37, which was enough to score the 35 points needed to clear the tier). Quick and dirty way to get a set of Q5/6 armor and 500 steel blocks with my Daring Adventurer perk letting me choose two rewards.
Has anyone tested if you continue to earn an extra reward for clearing 7 X tier6-equivalent of points...aka 42points, and 7 X tier 7-equivalent of points after that?
The format must have changed up then for A20, since in previous iterations it had to be X amt of the previous tier. We also didn't have the option to select different tiers. Once T2 was unlocked, thats all you had. Then T3, T4 etc. No way to back pedal. I stand corrected then :)
About further completion bonuses after tier 5 complete, I have read that there aren't any but I haven't bothered confirming. I can't imagine they would give you something better than t5's rewards though since they are already way overpowered. 500 steel blocks plus a full set of Q5-6 T3 armor is crazy.
