7dtd Alpha 18 release date

Im know it will be Oct. 6 or 7, as per latest info. But exactly how am I to know when it "actually releases"? I don`t frequent the social medias, and very few game discussions. Really dumg in all things computer. I can point ans hoot really good tho;-)

right click on game- properties- betas- "latest experimental unstable build" is alpha 18

How to get A18?

Haven't played in awhile, but wanting to play after reading and watching videos about A18. I go to launch the game though, and it's A17.4. It looks like A18 is officially released though, unless I'm reading things wrong. Game isn't updating either. Thanks for any help!

Go to your library and then properties then to beta tab and download latest experimental.

with navezgane the answer is usually yes, with rwg it typically gets broken fast as fixes come in. both would need new saves if they add or change pois but atm i havent heard any plans for that. won't be able to answer this fully until it goes stable.

You should definitely count on not being able to play an 18.e game in A18 stable.

Well, you're also free to get in there now and have a play around - test some builds out, see what sort of skills/perks are going to float your boat, so when A18 stable is out, you're able to dive right in. :-)

i read over the patch notes and i honestly have enjoyed alpha 18 so far but there is one HUGE issue i just came across....i cant craft an auger as it requires "motor tool parts"? Am I missing something to be found as loot? please help because i cant find any one else that can...im really sorry if this is off topic... ive been playing 7 days since it was first released on pc and this is the first time ive ever had an issue like this

Parts come from breaking down items, so Motor parts come from scraping chainsaws and augers. I haven't come across parts as loot but have scrapped a bunch of chainsaws and bought parts from the trader.

So now in 18 I save all low tier guns and melee items to scrap them as they usually give parts (some iron melee only give scrap iron). In 17 I would sell them or leave them.
