The robotic sledge can be placed and picked up anywhere.
If your crafting base is self-built or a very small poi, you can just leave your sleeping bag there and keep your land claim block at your horde base. The sleeping bag prevents sleeper respawns as well, but the area is smaller. A base you built yourself won't need sleeper respawn protection, and a small poi should be covered by your sleeping bag.
If your crafting base is inside a medium to large poi that you cleared, placing a land claim at your horde base may mean you get sleeper respawns at your crafting base that you will need to clear when you go back.
Can I just shift land claim blocks as needed? I don't need to do this a lot on my Bm base since I'm only still just perfecting my prototype design and may need to shift things around a bit in order to try and better perfect things.
As i said earlier, if the poi you converted into your crafting base is not small, you may have to clear sleepers again in your crafting base after placing the land claim block at your horde base.
Depending on just how close together they are and on how large they are, it is possible you may be able to cover both with one claim block.
Go to the multiplayer settings before you load in the next time and increase the claim size to the max. If you hold either e or r (can't remember which) while looking at the land claim block, it will have an option to see the boundaries of it.
If the 2 bases are very close and not too large, put a claim block between them before you put it at the horde base. Turn on the boundaries and see what's covered. If you don't have enough coverage, just drop it at the horde base as planned to move stuff around.
