Oil shale to Gas can ratio? Bit confused

I was wondering how many gas cans you get from a single oil shale. According to the 7 Days wiki, it says 10 gas can to 1 oil shale, but when I look at it on the chem station it says a 1:1 ratio? Can anyone put me straight? Thanks!

Ah thanks. That's good. The desert is really far away on my map and when I went to collect some I thought it was only a 1:1 ratio and said to myself "wow, I just spent the equivalent amount in gas just to get there and back!".

It is a bit weird how it shows up in game. I think the recipe should be for "gas can x10", not just "gas can", on the recipe list. That way new players could understand better just by looking at it.

Agree. They should fix that really.
