Where to find a beaker

So typically you'd think "Well idiot, did you check the Wiki or even bother to look it up before writing this question?". The answer to that is yes, that I have. I have searched a pharmacy and an entire hospital, and I have not found one beaker. Nor have I even found one in any traders. I've also got hella loot perks atm. Anyone able to give me some advice of what I should do to acquire one, or where I should check that I haven't?

I've found 3 on my current playthrough. Day 16, 240 min days.
The chemistry station I found on day 3 in a nearby POI made them obsolete, but just to give some perspective.

Sometimes air drops have them . Sometimes you can find them in the weirdest places like garbage cans. You see you did what most logical people would do pharmacy or the hospital but logic and this game is like oil and water it dont mix. My advice is just keep looting places sooner or later it will appear I got lucky with mine a nice zombie nurse just happened to be carrying one.

It sounds like you are doing most of the right things, just unlucky.

Whatever you do, you are still at the mercy of RNG.

If you feel like you have put the time in and "should" have found one by now, you could just cheat one in and go about your life.

There's no such thing as "I should've found one by now" in the world of RNG.

If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the sauna. Or however that saying goes.. :)

Chemistry stations and those little chem labs (the small ones on tables) in POIs are where I generally find them.

I agree with you in principle, and while I personally wouldn't do it in a real game, I also wouldn't come to the forum to inquire about the lack of beakers. So, under the circumstances, I am just offering the OP a way past his point of frustration.

Thank you all so much for your helpful responses! I did end up finding one in a trader. I've found that trader loot right after a blood moon always tends to be better, and I think that might have contributed (for anyone who browses this post later and is curious).

I had a similar problem finding my first crucible for ages. It was getting kinda desperate as I REALLY wanted to make forged steel for my horde night base. Finally found one in some random place in a house.. then found another a few days later as well as the trader also having a schematic.

It never rains and then it pours in this game!

Current playthrough issue I seem to be having atm. Lvl 50 with 30k caps and can't find one from loot OR trader. The trader had one for sale @6k caps back when the most I had was 3k caps and haven't seen one at trader since. Still haven't found one....ugh. Beaker's....have a bunch...never had much trouble with them really.
