More than one active land claim block?
Question to the guru's of the 7DT congregation: When you have an active land claim block in your home base it prevents z's from spawning in the building, right? Here's the thing; I like to establish a solid base in every town on the map but I don't want to be met by z's when I return to a base after days in another town. So I wonder: - is there a way to have several active land claim blocks? Can I edit the xml files or something?
Thank you.
Edit: yes it's singleplayer mode btw...

If we go to C:\Users\(YourUserName)\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie and read UserOptions it points to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\The Fun Pimps\7 Days To Die

There's couple ways to get in there.

1. Click Play on 7 Days to Die from Steam Library then select Show Game Launcher then Tools and Open settings.

2. Open Registry Editor, usually done by typing regedit in start, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\The Fun Pimps\7 Days To Die

Find this - LandClaimCount_h3672927595 https://i.imgur.com/h4NjFY0.png and set it to whatever number you want. I have it on 4. https://i.imgur.com/VJJNCu0.png

Load singleplayer and it should work. https://i.imgur.com/zm9jZnl.jpg

For example if you've set it to 5 you'll be able to have 5 active land claim blocks at the same time.

I have put nearly 500 hours into this game and I can honestly say that there is no way you can have more than one active land claim block going at any one time. Maybe pick certain areas with little to no zombies so it is easier to take them out if you want to use those areas for a short time. I don't know if you can manipulate any of the files to have multiple land claim blocks going at the same time though.

Many servers have added to the amount of landclaim block 1 person is able to place, but there is no option in the game menu.
Must be possible with a minor xml adjustment. I do not know how or what specific .xml need to be edited, but I'm sure there are ppl on the forum that know .

I know it is doable, because the war of the walkers mod lets you choose how many land claim blocks you want in the options, even for solo.

I have no idea HOW you do it, just that you can.

Oooohhhhh....I like this. I'm more of a builder/looter/miner etc, don't care about tower defense and constant combat or all of that. But just turning zombies completely off is a little too dull after a while, even for me.

Is there a hard limit to how many you could have set even with the registry tweak? Could you set up hundreds and hundreds (obviously for solo/offline play), I mean, defining personal zombie hunting ground areas while still having a lot of large zombie free zones? :steammocking: It seemed to accept 32 of them, at least, so I can now have/work on several huge fortress designs per map vs. having to decide on only one spot. Thanks, super awesome!

Having two or three bases with an lcb each is a novel idea but even better is to have the ability to fast travel from one location to another that have these land claim blocks. If the player has a base in the desert biome and one in the snowy biome, depending on how they are placed on the map, be easier to fast travel between them.
