How does sharing xp work?
If you play in a party will you get less xp each if you were to farm together?

The person that does the action will get their base XP amount regardless of anything. The people in that person's party will get a certain percentage of XP when it happens, and if they are a certain distance from the person when it happens. Both of these are set by the server or the save of whoever is hosting.

Also this only applies to XP gained through zombie kills. I'm not sure if this also applies to trap kills.

If you play in a group, within a certain range of each other, you will share each others XP earned.
