Multiple Electrical Inputs
Hi guys ! I really love and enjoy this game, been playing for a while.
Me and my buds are all engineers and love a good challenge and a great bunker setup.

I know this is an old question but I didn't find any news on the subject.

The point is being able to create complex electric signal circuits such as traps, lighting, modular base units, etc.

Given the fact that one Electrical item (let's say Powered Door) can accept a single input (such as a lever or switch) we couldn't find a solution of opening a door from both sides.

Thanks !

When you wire two trigger objects together with nothing inbetween the two trigger objects will work together to trigger whatever is down the line. (EG: Motion Sensor->Motion Sensor, but NOT Motion Sensor->Relay/door/whatever->Motion Sensor)

Using motion sensors as an example, when wired directly together, either one seeing motion would open the door. However if you put a relay or literally anything else between the two motion sensors, the first motion sensor in line will instead determine if the second motion sensor is even on to sense anything.

So to do what you want, you need to do:
Power Source->Relay/othermethod of getting to the location->Motion Sensor or other trigger-> Motion sensor or other trigger-> Door or other object to be triggered.

Thanks a lot for your reply :D That makes sense, we didn't think of it that way.
We'll get to testing ASAP.
