Where to get short pipe?

Where do you get short pipe other than breaking down cars?

Pretty sure iron pipes can be found by breaking down shopping trolleys, sinks, found as random loot and crafted at the forge

Sinks, appliances, bedframes....try wrenching everything mechanical

If it seems like it may have a pipe involved, it likely gives pipes, tbh. Toilets, sinks, washing basins, the metal bedframes, certain appliances, etc... Also from random loot. Some things that drop pipes will do so whether you wrench it or mine it with a stone axe/pickaxe.

Also if you find some forged iron in the open, you can make pipes that way, but I would save it for crafting with.

Toilets. That’s where I get the pipes needed to make that first forge. You only need the Stone Axe. That seems to be the most reliable way to easily get some without already having a forge/wrench. Just smash a couple toilets down to nothing.

Best source: Car by far (near 100% droprate)
Rest: Random. As other said, if the thing your breaking down invovles having them, as seen by the model itselfe, then it will most likely drop it. Thou tbh. i dont bother playing on 50% loot, thus i have more of them than i ever need, and that includes reparing the blunderbus/primitive shotgun.
