Help with base building (Wooden Plates)
I use Wooden Plates as floor but when I want to build something on top of it, it wants to build a block above it and not on top of the actual wood plate.

Each block placed uses a full 1m voxel cube. If you want to use plates for flooring, you need to have them in the block space below, and have the plate on the top of the block space instead of the bottom.

It's why I don't use wood plates for floors. Just use a full block or rotate it to be at top of the space like SylenThunder suggests. I do like them for ceilings sometimes but, mainly for only areas I don't intend on setting things.

Interesting thing about it, is that you can create floating bases. Not super effective, but it's fun to watch zombies bouncing off the wall and falling down into the hole. :)
