Locked treasure map chests?

Not the quests from the trader but from treasure maps, they're locked now reading 'Use treasure cache', how do you open them?

Bash it open with a pickaxe like any other locked object, Or hold the interact key and pick the lock w/ lockpicks like any other locked chest/safe.
