Is there a way to preview a randomly generated world
What the title says. I want to be able to generate a world and check if lets say all unique buildings have spawned ?

In example the world i am currently playing into does not have the Dishong tower or the Higashi Pharmaceutical building

Start the game and once at the main menu pick Edit Tools. On the next screen pick preview Gen World or something like that. Pick the map you want to preview and enter the game. Now there is another way that I really am not qualified to explain since I don't remember how exactly to do it but there is a file (might be your saved game file) that can be opened and viewed in notepad. Here you will find the names of every building in that world and coordinates on where they are. I assume a google search will tell you how to do this if you want to go that route.

When you start a new game there should be 3 random gen worlds showing by default. I would suggest the 2nd map as it is loaded with all kinds of awesome POI's and a fairly equal amount of biomes.

It's not the savegame which saves the players status and his modifications in the world. It's the Prefabs.xml in the map folder. I use it to find trader positions to avoid running around randomly and stumbling accross them "accidentially". But if you know the name of the prefab you can just look up its positions in that file. There is also a splatmap image with streets and a biome image with biome distribution in that folder to give a hint of the map layout.
Hope that helps.

If you're using NitroGen go to, AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\GeneratedWorlds\Maps name and previewMap.png is a top down of the generated map.
This video has the colorcode keys for the different poi on the map.

You can use a program called 7DTD-Singleplayer map renderer to show what you have opened up on the map.
