Any way to copy blocks?
I've set up shop in a little graveyard, the one with a little church/morgue and a few crypts that is surrounded by a grey brick wall. I've had some zombies break through the thinner wall blocks and I cant find make or find anything in the creative menu that looks similar. I can repair those wall blocks with cobblestones, but the only thing to make with them is Flagstones, which look nothing like the wall blocks and none of the orientations are right kind

Did you try shapes from shape menu and advanced rotation?
And most of the POI blocks are painted, some textures are not block textures but paint.

I did try that, but none of the blocks would orientate the right way. The best way I can describe it is as a 1/2 block, standing upright and sitting through the middle of the block space, like a cobblestone wall in Minecraft. I haven't found anything that is like that

Yes there is. Enable the creative menu using 'cm' in the console, open the creative menu using 'U'; Then activate the dev items/blocks with a button in the top center- And search for Paint-- One of the options that appears should be a purple developer paintbrush. If you take that in hand, and look at a block, hold R to open the radial menu, one of the options should be 'copy block'- It will copy the block in it's entirety, existing paint included.

Well there are some shapes that are used in building POIs but are not available to player (unless you use creative menu). I think there are some shapes missing in cobblestone but are present in concrete block shape menu. Maybe you can try those.

Yeah, I know those exact walls - they are Center half blocks (or half block ctr, I forget the exact name) and they are unavailable in regular play in any material that I’ve found. I believe you can find them in the creative menu, perhaps as a brick block?

Anyway, it always annoyed me I couldn’t craft them, and had to ruin the aesthetics of the place to repair them.

As for matching the colour though, or the patterns on the doorway, you can use a paint brush, use colour picker while looking at the texture you want to copy, and paint that on any blocks.

I did find out what block exactly they are and that they are unobtainable, which sucks. However I dont really care about cheating as long as it is minor stuff, so I did just spawn in the right brick half CTR and paint it the right texture to match. I'm considering replacing all those walls with metal fences so i have full visibility after I finish my spike moat so the wall is likely only temporary anyway.
