Strange blue box - not sure how I'm making it happen or what it is or how to get rid of it.

So, some times I hit some button combo that cause a blue translucent box to appear. The size is variable, and may be related to how I'm moving the mouse at the time it is created. Once there, I don't know how to get rid of it. I do know that I cannot crouch (using the left ctrl key) once it exists, no matter how far away I get from it (i.e. its influence is not limited to the chunk).

Other than being annoying, and blocking crouch, it doesn't seem to do anything. It goes away upon exiting and restarting.

Any thoughts?

You're playing in Debug and/or Creative mode and fatfingering the Z key somehow. It's an area selection tool for deleting or adding terrain and some other things. I dunno how to make it go away though.

It doesn't, or shouldn't, block crouch though.. Something else odd might be going on there. Or well, i use the c key to crouch rather than left ctrl, so it could be that the zone selection is seeking input and ctrl+<Something> is an input method for it.

I found out how guys by experimenting, tho sorry I'm late for the conversation. Press the "G" key while looking at the blue clear box's and then click backspace and it will delete it! Hope that helps.
