Where do potatoes grow?

You can find the seeds on the ground and grow them.

The fastest way to get seeds is to go to traders and check the trader/vending machine for potatoes.

The only potatoes I've found so far in Navezgane were in a garden in a small grouping of houses in the Snow Biome. I can't quite recall whereabouts in the Snow Biome though.

Unlike the corn fields at the two farmhouses or the Blueberries that grow randomly in the Snow Biome, potatoes seem to be the 'rarer' item.

I just plant the potato seeds I find in loot containers (Garbage Bags, etc) and grow my potato empire from there :)

Huh. I hadnt noticed. 17.2 was released while we were still playing - I assume I bought/planted everything just before the .2 update. My bad.

The location potatoes growing wild is on 1300 N 300 E (referring to ingame map). Think those are the ones Karma found ;) Hope the answer is not to late ;)

I'll add 300 E 1300 N, for those still looking, as that plot in the snow where Potatoes are along with a couple Blueberries and some Corn.

The only good way of finding a decent amount of potatoes is hoping that a trader has them for sale. I hear that each trader has a specialization now of what items they sell more of, too, and one of them deals more in food. Can't remember which one, though. Maybe Rekt?

Not sure if / where that would be in navezgane though.
