In fact, it performs a little better because the back end and the graphical client get to be completely separate processes and heavy processing in one won't lag the other, assuming you have a processor with a bunch of cores.
i got an I7-8700k with 6 cores.
Should be enough i guess.
I don't know that the bedroll stops spawning. In my current game, I have my starter base on the roof of a Shamway foods. Zeds still spawn inside the shamay on a regular basis. And they get nastier as time goes on. Even with settings for day-walk/night-run, I have faced "running" zeds coming out of the Shamway in the daytime.
false. the land claim nlock # can be changed now. My server has 3 lcb's per person :)
I just learned about respawns in "already cleared" buildings yesterday which is a bunch of BS. You don't see zombies repawn behind people in a horror story for pete's sake. I guess it's gonna take another 3 years to patch out as wel.
it won't be patched out. Also I really wish people would stop trying to apply realism to every feature they don't like unless they are willing to apply it to the ones they DO like.
I mean I can't recall anyone in horror movies healing a broken leg in 10 minutes or respawning after being killed, or carrying an entire base in their backpack.....
The reason it exists is because otherwise you would literally run out of zombies if they never respawned, and all those cleared houses would be free loot when they respawn.
Just think of the zombie respawning as simulating zombies breaking in after you cleared a place. Quite a few horror movies have had zombie outbreaks start back up again in places they thought were safe because a single zombie started the outbreak anew.
Once you clear a POI it remains clear for a period of time. it doesn't immediately respawn easily giving you time to go back and get more stuff, its at least an in game day if not more between respawn.
If your waiting days then at that point it can respawn however. If your that concerned just do what most people do and craft a chest or two in the town you are looting. Then you can loot the POI's, drop off the loot, and when you head back to base you can mazimize the loot your taking back.
When you come back, the loot is sitting ready for you in a chest and is easy to grab.
Watch your inventory and build chests wherever you need, marking them on your map. I would add to this by saying you should use 2x chests at each location: One for stackables & one for non-stackables. This will make it easier for you to decide what you really need to bring back to your base if you only have time to make one trip (plus it keeps the boxes better organized) . Furthermore, the more stackables you leave behind for future trips will save you time since you'll be adding to the box every day that you loot. Thus, you can bring them all back at once.
Make sure you place your chests up high on the side of a building—and not on the ground. If you place them too low, zeds can destroy them and you will lose all the loot that's inside. Place them in a similar manner inside your base for the same reason.
Yeah stick it so all 3 people who still play this can read it every day so they can grow even more narrow minded than they already are if that is even humanly possible.
Actually 7dtd has been consistently hitting concurrent player numbers that rival that of many AAA games, and its reviews are basically at near record levels.
So yeah.... no issues with people liking the game
I just looked a few minutes ago at the current number of players. There were over 18,000! I'm guessing that the zombies kicked your a** recently and your ego won't allow you to realize that perhaps there's something about the game that you don't know, but should learn. Just a guess!
ps I posted a solution for one of your issues (look up 4 posts above this one). So at least that problem is solved! :)
