i know there's a command go give you (example) 5 points into gunslinger, but what i'm looking for is just the points themselves i don't want to give my self xp (case then its no fun) but i just want to get points so i can freely chose what to spend them in (what i want example) just to have 20 points so i could chose what i want from the beginning.

They probably only have the command to give direct points because to give XP would seem redundant, since skills is all it's used for.

Wait.... Points are earned by gaining XP... So... Just turn up the XP multiplier.

Not meaning to hijack this thread but is there a command to clear illness?

I think my game might be bugged out because I have the "you feel something coming on" and it isn't going away. I was watching it rising from 58 mins to now 1 hour and it hasn't changed. After using my own antibiotics and honey it still didn't change and every now and then the same message "you feel something coming on" appears as like a reminder.

So I used the cheat menu to spawn in some more antibiotics and honey etc but nothing has fixed it. Is this a bug or something I'm missing or is there a way to clear it?

Try giving yourself a Sham Sandwich and then eating it. I understand that this will give you food poisoning that will clear out the perma "feeling something coming on" bug you seem to have gotten.

If you're comfortable with editing the xml file you could change the starter quest reward to give yourself 20 points after placing the campfire.

It would be in the quests xml
quest_BasicSurvival8
line 232: reward type Skillpoints would be the one you're looking for.
change the "4" in that line to "whatever number you want" then save it.

should be good to go.

Edit: line 232 is the line it shows for me using Notepad++

This will rapidly increase the game stage which can result in a blood moon horde more powerful than what the player's gear and defenses can handle.
