Attach Sign to Storage Chest?

In minecraft we could attach signs to the actual box, Is there a way to do this in 7D2D?

Every time I try to attach the sign, it is suspended in the air one block in front of the storage chest.

You can attach signs to storage boxes but not the chests.

Having not crafted a storage box yet, can a storage box hold more or less than a storage chest?

Storage containers/crates/boxes hold more than storage chests.

It would be nice to have a paint option where you can type in a label to paint on the box surface. We typically just use the paint templates to differentiate what boxes hold what, but the number of those templates is fairly limited.

Can make signs... Ive seen that. But yes, should be a default on a container to have a label.

Not sure if you're playing with mods but in the vanilla version both the Storage Box and Secure Storage Chest have a storage capacity of 72 (8 x 9 slots).

I think the storage box should have a little more capacity. If you're going to the trouble to build a more elaborate container, I would think you would make it hold a bit more. It is nice you can mount signs on them, but it would be even better if boxes had the labels built in somehow. Then you wouldn't have to be careful not to click on the sign when trying to access the box.
