Realistically, 10k or 12k is the max that truly works. Larger than that and you start to run into several issues outside of the amount of RAM required just to make it.
I was trying to drop it back to something like 12 but in the XMLs it seemed to only have settings for 4, 8 and 16 so I didn't wanna cause issues. I also edited the rwgmixer to up certain POIs to 100% so that could have been causing much more ram usage.
As for different sizes. They should work fine. I put out a modlet that allows different sizes right from the UI. Max size is 16k, but smaller sizes should work fine. I have tested all of these sizes: 4096,6144,8192,10240,12288,14366,16384
Our issue is we don't seem to get much for stores, factories and skyscrapers. I set the values of them to what I thought was 100% (prob="1")... which seems to have worked pretty well except we didn't get a Dishong. I'm trying to turn one of the skyscrapers into a Dishong atm but not getting any success. Maybe I got the region wrong... I figured I'll attempt to spawn it down the road a lil. hard to find good info on it.
Any chance you could tell me what prob="2" would mean? I only see it on the traders... the rest seems to be a % between 0 and 1... such as .25 being 25%.
There are a number of issues with current RWG.
Some of the screenshots for the changes being worked on look really interesting though.
I have been using this article but I feel like I'm calculating regions wrong somehow....
I do appreciate the help.
