Maybe try jumping with the sprint active. I don't think I have needed sprint to jump 2 blocks, although, I do use it all the time anyway. I'll have to observe myself to see what I actually do. lol
As you say, 3/5 or 4/5 will let you jump 2, 5/5 says yoy can jump one more resulting in 3, but I cant get up on 3 blocks
yea, you can put a ladder in 3rd row and reach it with a jump(akward jump tbh, that "sticky" mechainc needs tweak too ) but you cant stack 3 frames and jump on top of them
For a long time I had Parkour 3 by using the ski goggles. When I would switch to something else, I would forget that it killed my extra jump.
Sounds plausible that Mobility would affect jump height. But im using light armor with Custom Fittings for increased mobility. Think I have Custom fittings on all pieces except one wich have Muffled Connectors
Will defo try n mess around with armor/fittings
EDIT; Tried the jump with no armor at all, still not possible to make it. Also. I can make the +1 jump with my armor. Following that, it should be possible to do a +2 in same armor as long as you have the skill upgrade. Unless. They have a eg +5 % buffer that allows you get up and over +1, but the 5 % jumpheight buffer doesnt extend to +2. Or it do extend but its "used up" on negative Mobility-values to get on +1
must be "freefloating/free-jumping" meaning you cant "slide" up the stack of blocks.
The forward action must be done midair. We cant hit W and then activate the +2 jump, we have to jump, then hit W
Someone plz correct me if wrong
Heck, I can't wait to make it to Parkour level 5. Agility and speed are a huge benefit while mixing it up with a lot of zeds. You can take many routes they can't and get on places they can't reach. Pretty cool.
edit: I did notice after a bunch of jumps that in this condition it helps to hold the sprint button to make it on top, same as doing 1 frame while crouched. Without it, a few times I got hung on the edge and then dropped.
Aye, I never maxed it before, and the skill is amazing. So many new combat options and ways to get out of trouble. Also really good when building. No more broken legs.
But its strange how I have issues using it from what youre telling. I have to be superaccurate in my keystrokes. I cant just walk up to a 3 block stack while holding W, then hit jump and expect to land on the top. If im like half a block away from the 3stack and hit jump then W, then I perform the jump.
My crouch isnt autocancelled when jumping, I have it set to clicktotoggle, not hold.
