Mini Bike died message

For some odd reason the battery on the mini bike keeps being drained. It is a level 517 purple battery and is at its full "health" bar. When I ride around, just a little and get off, the battery is fully drained. I used repair kits to repair the battery and it was fully charged again. I proceed to do the same, ride around a little, and then the battery is drained again. Then I received a message in the chat window that said " Mini bike died" and all the pieces were on the ground with the battery drained again. The mini bike's health was at 84%. What is going on please?

Was also thinking this...Minibike headlight drains the battery fast if left on after dismounting (just like leaving the dome light on your car when it's not running).

Played this game for some time now & the only time ive seen the bike die is the lights have been left on, As for it being damaged only time ive seen that is when parked & a dumb ass zombie has walked into it bashing the crap out of it till it could move lol

It used to do this when minibike was first introduced. What version are you playing ;p

accidentally parking the bike on a small cactus will kill the battery fast too..made that mistake a few times..

I've had the minibike durability degrade from being parked on non-level surfaces. It will do a vibration movement thing after dismounting, and will degrade all the parts (handlebars, seat, etc) equally. If left long enough, the entire minibike will be at 0 durability with smoke coming from it.

I have never seen just the battery degrade (except for the intentional feature when you leave the headlight on, as mentioned by others), nor have I seen the bike take itself apart.

Interesting.. I've seen my bike vibrate like that too but always repositioned it Incase it glitches out lol good to know I was making a smart move by doing so :)

I found that if the battery ever becomes damaged in any way, it would never work properly again. I would have to repair it every time i got on the bike to use it. Also found that if the bike took a hit, the majority of the damage went to the battery. Dont ever think you have a clear shot over your bike at a zed. The hit box is 2 blocks high on a minibike and you will wreck your battery. These are just a few of the reasons i walk everywhere. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. The lights were not left on, actually I rarely use them. It was not parked on a cactus, I was in a forest or it was left on a road while I walked around to explore. Nothing attacked it either. I would repair the battey and after driving just a little and dismounting to explore, the battery would then be dead.

The mini bike worked great for quite some time, but all of sudden, this bug happened, then it fell apart. I picked up all the pieces and each piece is the same level and rating as before, but the battery is dead.

what alpha version are you playing? cos the bikes dont fall apart nor do you get a message in the current alpha.

No idea what version. I've been playing for about 4 weeks. Where does it show the version?

it should show it in the upper right corner of the screen ? if not right click on the game and go properties. then select betas tab and it should tell you there

ok .. thats the latest build but the bike shouldnt be falling apart nor should u be receiving messages that says minibike died lol i have no idea how that is happening ?
