what are the best mods for the compound crossbow?

so i found a level 6 compound crossbow and i havent got that many mods yet but i was wondering what i should put on it in all 4 slots right now i have a 2x scope with Polymer string and 2 other throw ons

I think the structural brace will work. The arrow knock (sp) is probably helpful. I don't remember there being an abundance of mods for the bow.

yeah i think as long as i have the scope and polymer it'll be pretty fine i'll have to see what all the mods that can be used to make a proper decision

Those are the two main ones for crossbow. (although I use the 4x scope over 2x. I believe reflex site works too, but haven't tried it.) After that it's whatever floats your fancy... The rad remover is good if your gamestage is throwing glowing zombies at you. Cripple 'em and the hunter can also be useful. Arrow rest unfortunately won't fit on a crossbow.

Edit - I'm assuming you know you can scrap any bow/xbow for 3 parts. Also cheap low quality bows are often available at traders, buy them and scrap them.
