- even Picasso had a "blue period" where he focused on one thing. But jail-doors as only solid factor for basebuilds is a new level
But. there was a fairly good reason they were removed. Tbh, I dont recall why. Think it was lag-issues or something.
But they have a guy on doors/electrics afaik, and the doors havnt been ditched from the engine
Well without them, bases are way less cool in my opinion because you can't have a "portcullis" so that you can shoot through it during blood moon, you're forced to shoot at zombies from above your wall.
Anyway, I think I will wait until the next update to see if they put it back
I like jail-doors. theyre superkool.
but they are by no means needed, or even good
use halfblocks, arrowslits, or full block-opening, use Ironbars+vaultdoors. use one of the other kool blocks you can craft if its the utility you miss
a good spaced opening the zombies cant get throug(spiders can) is block+plate(flipped down)+halfblock(flipped up), supported on the sides or flow-glitched if thats your thing - you can crouchjump , and shoot/use throwables thoug it from either side, and make multible layers so you can fall back as the chaos evolve. can also be used as perimeter fence
