Small engines

Do they exist? I'm day 22. Lvl 60. I've taken apart countless cars. Trying to build a mini bike finally and I've never seen an engine. Has anyone LOOTED an engine?

Yes sir I have many. From cars and other such sources, incl. crates.

Not to annoy you, but I have several on day 12 and I am no where near ready to make a minibike. I didn't keep track of where each one was looted from.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the responses. I can't imagine I've been that unlucky. Wonder If it's time to restart my game is probably bugged. It was a game that didn't spawn a trader at all either.

Cars have 3 levels of destructed. Only the second level gives engines, probably you being wrenching cars at third level.

Oh yeah I had one on those said the trader was -0.0m, immediately generated a new map.

THanks but I know how to play the game, man. And, I've wrenched cars at all three levels. I have like a thousand hours in this game, you really shouldn't assume people are playing wrong.

well, sounds like you already know the answer, so no need to ask in forums unless it is just to complain. make a new map. Close this useless thread.

Erogath: there is a skill that makes you get better stuff when you dissasemble things. I am at roughly the same point in the game you are but I have put several levels into mine and have collected about 5 engines so far.

The skills have changed in A17, so your mileage may vary

Actually, there is. If you can read my post and understand it you'd realize I'm fishing for an answer if anyone else is having an issue. There was no complaint. So, no, I didn't know the answer. Thanks for your useless response.

I might need to do that, I have a couple points in it, salvage you're talking about, right?
