Do you mark every house you raid?
As written in the title, do you mark every house you raid?
Otherwise, how can you remember which house you raided in a city?

you can, most just plant a torch at the door or have a dropchest in the street. i'm sure theres other methods to employ also. i don't do this at all anymore, i simply check the surrounding loot containers (trash, mailboxes etc) to see if they were already looted. if they have been then i've already cleared that POI

I sometimes do, and sometimes don't. Depends on how i got to the house and what I'm doing.

If I'm systematically looting a city, I will mark houses as 'D4-1400' or something like that to represent day 4, 14:00 as the time I left the building.

However if I got a quest at a house I dont mark it.

If you're not up for sifting through map markers like that, Place a wood frame or somthing like it out front of every building you loot, or come up with some other way of representing to yourself at a glance that a building has been looted.

Could also just do it by memory.

unrelated, when doing quests involving a POI (Fetch, Clear Zombies) be sure you clear the POI BEFORE you activate the rally point, rally points will reset the POI so you can get double loot from one POI in a single run.

I place a marker if it's full of bookcases or something else I want to come back for in a week or so. I like Shurenai's idea about using date/time, as well. *steals it and runs*

Understood thank you!

Yeah I was thinking too about marking it as you are doing, but at the end of the time I will have a lot of marks on my top navigator, I think I will just put a block in front of the door maybe

The tactic I employed in earlier versions was keeping a brush and stack of paint with me. Throw a big ole swath of bright pink near the front and back doors.

Systematic looting of cities though, I'll use the X map marker on individual buildings, clear em out one grid block at a time, then delete the X's and slap a single one in the center of the block

That way I know at a glance how many total city blocks I've already gone through.

Oh great strategy really!

I knock out all the windows and doors of each POI I go to. That way, I can tell at a glance whether I've already been there or not, since I've yet to see a single POI that had absolutely no doors nor any windows in the window frames.

Not a bad idea. i had a thought too; Craft signs and carry them with you. Plop it in the yard out front with the date and time you last looted the building on it. :P

Would be awesome yeah, to be able to hand draw on the map without having it tagged to a marker. So we could draw roads or circle stuff and the likes and preferably be able to share the drawings to others like the sharded markers.

So you could cicle 2 or 3 houses and give the"order of the day" and such to the group or show the road to someone new who has to get to the base.

Yeah It would be really great, hope they will think something about it :3

I think this requires too much effort and make a lot of noises while destroying every windows xD
