I wanna play on Alpha 16 again

How do i go back to Alpha 16, i dont like this 17 version...

right click the game in your library, Properties, Beta tab, scroll back down to 16.4

You know I to woke up today to my 7DTD game auto updated to A17 and really wanted to go back to A16 but decided to stick it out for at least the day or longer and see how it is and so far its all the changes that have peaked my interest although its the actual performance of the game itself that may lead to me returning to A16 at least until I get my new graphics card.

How/why did it auto update to alpha 17? Isn't it opt-in only?
