Dropping Items on the Ground
So, we all know to drop an item out of your inventory onto the ground you need to drag and drop. Is there a way to make this a key to press as well? Example: hover mouse over object and press 'O' to drop an item onto the ground. Does not have to be 'O' but it is usually unused.

'D' would work, really any unused key. 'O' is an inventory button so 'O' is out of the question. I am asking if it is a possible to do with the XML or any other way.

No, but, There's already a key for it, is what he's saying. If you select an item (Most items, anyway), the D key is the hotkey for the 'Drop' option. When you have an item selected, it has a list of things you can do with it in the top centerish area of the screen; EG: Assault rifle has "Modify, Repair, Scrap, Drop" - These often have hotkeys listed beside them that give you quick access to functions, Usually the WASD keys.

Just hoping..but...the function you're hoping for already exists; A way to not have to drag and drop an item to drop it. You just select the item with a click and hit D- click D, Click D, Click D- No dragging and releasing necessary.

:) yes the option is there. Click, then click D. Thank you. I would like to avoid the first click. So if there is no way, that is fine. Not going to be a deal breaker for me to get back into playing this game.
