Dart traps and trip wires

So i set up a generator. Motor, fuel powered on. Then i connected it to some dart traps. Then i understtood that i need trip wires or pressure plate. So i did that. Connected everything but now...

When i stand on the pressure plate, the dart traps don't fire. Tried with locked ammo or not. it just doesn't do a thing.

Trip wires doesn't work too :(

How do i need to do it ?

EDIT : i figured wiring was wrong but now the traps don't fire unless i llock ammo. And if i do they fire constantly with pressure plate

is your setup, generator > pressure plate > trap?

if you have your generator set up directly to the trap it will continuously fire, until out of ammo.
you need a switch or pressure plate before the trap, to tell the trap when it should turn on.
