Is there any way to recover a "lost" drone or at least clear it so that I can deploy a new one?

My drone disappeared. This happened right after a very weird graphics glitch: while riding the motorcycle it sped up about 5x for 2 seconds, then reversed me back a bit, I guess to make up for that distance. I'm not 100% sure that was the moment it disappeared, but everything else seemed normal and I had my drone about a minute earlier. I started mining and looked for my drone, who was carrying the rock busters, and it was gone. I retraced my steps quite a ways back, checked all my inventory containers, restarted the game, etc... After realizing it's probably just gone, I tried to deploy a new one, and the game said I had the maximum number deployed. Any way to resolve this, maybe some debug mode command?

Thanks! I searched for "disappeared", but that post used the word "vanished". Not sure why the algorithm wouldn't match those two.

The problem is asked nearly every day !
Use F1 to pen console.
1) Tape 'jd' (without quotes) to see if you have az drone adress, but it's likely the case. It will show position unknown.
2) Tape jd clear (without quotes with a space) it will remove the lost drone.
3) Spawn a new one and it works.
Unfortunately you will loose your previous drone with all the stuff /mods on it...

I searched for it and went through pages of responses without finding any results with a solution (some complaints about it, though). They really need to fix the search algorithm if this is asked so frequently.
