It gives a lot more FPS in some situations but can crash on some setups
He did and so have you. His point is that your video comes from a channel that has consistently uploaded videos with inaccurate information, which has been debunked multiple times. Your point is that you were originally just trying to help OP. BOTH of you are right in the sense you two are just trying to help. So please don't fight over something like this. ♥
Ultimately, the debate here I feel, is misplaced, because this isn't the time or place for 'that' specific debate. You two should be the type to perhaps 'debate' over it, during a BBQ at a beach, with drinks in hand on the notion you two aren't going to end up fighting over. Instead, just having a shake of the head and some casual scoffing. ;)
As for the OPs issue...
Are you running any previous mods? Make sure to update/delete those from both the appdata and game folders. Also, what does your GPU/CPU temperatures say? Any overheating? What about limiting FPS to 60 as a test, or test play on a smaller world?
As for me, neither of us (5) have run into issues with the game using experimental latest build. Mind you, we're using AMD GPUs and CPUs.
