building blocks at an offset angle?

started a new game after the update, and went to build my first hideout and noticed the blocks was offset and at a weird angle? like you cant put them in a straight line with everything else. very irritating. not to mention they took away easy controller functions in the inventory. been doing it the same way for years and then all of a sudden you wake up one day and its all changed. i understand making things look better and adding more things to the game but why change things that was not an issue to begin with?

May be a bug. Building functionality hasnt changed at all for me. Everything still lines up/rotates etc as it always had. Try verifying game files etc? May help.

Maybe you have some weird shape selected isntead of cube, or just have it rotated 45degrees?
