[Fixed] Game freezes at random times FIXED!
I have been having this problem for sometime. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Some things I've tried: ( I'm not the most technical person )
I have tried re-installing the game and verifying the game files through steam.
using low graphical settings ingame, no shadows, no reflections etc.

Play on SP mode random map
Play the 64 bit version of game

i7-3770 3.4GHz
16 GB RAM
Windows 8

Output log below:

Have you monitored temperatures while you play, for both the CPU and the GPU(s)? Have you disabled any AntiVirus? Are you playing the non-EAC version of the game?

Did you restart as of 9.2 or 9.3?

Thank you for the quick response. :)

I restart a new game every version just to be on the safe side, only been playing since 8.0. I often follow the discussions on steam and the 7DTD forums and they always say it's a good idea to restart a game for each new version.

Not sure about tempurature software to monitor the CPU or GPU? Any good recommendations? My computer doesn't seem to have any internal software for that. :(

Disabling Antivirus makes me nervous, haven't had to do that for any game before.

I don't even know what EAC is, sorry I'm not technical. Bought the game here on steam about five months ago if that helps any.

It's good to start a new game regularly, though replaying the game from the start over and over gets old, I know. :yay:

HWmonitor is good temperature monitoring software, for both the CPU and GPU.

The only reason to disable AntiVirus right now is to try and work around the EasyAntiCheat bugs. Same thing with any firewall you might have running (though this is less necessary as it doesn't sound like you have a custom firewall). You can simply re-enable the AV software after you're done gaming - I do that all the time.

Since you're playing SP, make sure you run the game with EAC disabled (choose that after clicking Play in Steam). They have noted that Windows 8.1 has issues with EAC right now.

And lastly - I'd recommend using the 32-bit version of the game. The 64-bit has been unstable (for me at least) for some time now.

Thank you! I'll give those a try.

Update:
I finally found the culprit of my random freezes. I tried changing so many things, one at a time to see what would help and finally it all came down to lowering the game resolution a couple notches. Hope this helps others with random freezes! :)

Sounds like your VRAM was hitching, which would do it yes. Thanks for updating the topic for others.
