Game wont respond after clicking "connect to server"
This started happening after last update, it was working fine before.
I can play single player fine but when i push "connect to server" button the game stops responding, music goes on but nothing else happens, can't atl+tab out of it and i need to ctrl+alt+del to task manager where always appears as "not responding" and i need to kill the process.

I've already tried multiple times all of these:
- change 64 to 32 bit installation and back, manual change from .bat file too.
- deleted saves from my documents folder
- complete uninstall and reinstall (3 times already ¬¬ )
- verify game data files from steam.

Nothing is working and i've searching for a solution for this for 2 weeks or so, nothing in the forum has worked and i have no idea what to do.

HELP!

Windows 7 64 bit
8 GB ram
Nvidia GTX 760 EVGA graphics card
Intel i5 3.20 Ghz processor
MSI Z87-G45 gaming motherboard

Have you tried running the game windowed before you connect? Curious to see if you'd get the same result. Most of your fix attempts were the correct ideas to try.
I'm also having an issue with joining any server. I can host a server and play sp. But people cant join me. I'm on a 2 screen setup, primary running full screen at 2560x1440. Tried giving files administrator, doing change of 64 / 32 bit. New buyer of this game, so a bit down to experience these issues as it didnt seem to indicate having a problem joining a server when looking at forums at first.
just went to windows 1920x1080 to test. Its stuck at connecting to server via NAT Facalitator i hear music in the back. Killed bullguard my firewall. Port forward entered, ( redirection via ports DOES work, as i've done it with other games )

EDIT: This time i was able to return to menu! So its the "joining a server" method thats bugged somehow.

Are you running EAC or without AntiCheat? I don't think there has been a posting about what ports EAC needs yet.
I was running with EAC, Just tried using a game without it. And i could get it to work.
I'ts most likely a port issue or something with EAC yes.
Try opening the following ports:
50300 and 50301
Just tried that in the router. But when i have Bullguard up and running i cant connect despite this change. The second i turn off the firewall element it works flawlessly. I've contacted bullguard about this. They are telling me based on logs, that there is an ip that is blocked in bullguard. So their sending me details on unblocking this. I'll test this. But as it is now, im unable to play with anti cheat with my firewall on. Despite the fact that the 2 exe files are added with no limitations. :|

Just tried it and doesn't work, today's patch didn't help either, this is getting frustrating :S

Have you tried completely disabling your firewall and antivirus Yoryiboy?
i have an update: just trying stuff right now, seems to be a strange problem with having servers in the favorite list. I read something like that somewhere and tried it.

After leaving the game "frozen" in "connect to server" button it ran after 6-7 mins, then i went to favorite servers, the game went frozen again, so i waited yet again 5-6 mins, erased my favorite servers and now the game is running fine, but as soon as i add a new server to favorites, it crashes.... so not really a solution, just a workaround.

Ah yes, the favorites list is currently a source of problems. If there are dead or missing servers in there it will lock up communications for a while until it finally times out on them. Removing those servers (or all of them) from favorites seems to clear up comms issues. I think we added this to the Known Issues and Workarounds topic just today.
I have an update. Its directly related to bullguard in my case! I'm able to play with EAC on, if i disable my firewall, and exit bullguard to kill the active herucistic protection! I couldnt untill i enabled port forwarding on 3 ports to the game though. But after that i have access out to the servers without issues!
Atm the EAC version is making my active protection in the firewall go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to put it straight.
